I study forms in nature and in human culture: how they happen, why they happen and their evolution. In my work I focus on specific elements of those forms and how they appear in living organisms, geological features or human made objects. Studying these forms and sculpting them helps me understand them better and enjoy them more.
My research began in Petra, studying Nabataean sculpture and architecture, and it has expanded to include its influences as well as early art from the whole region.
Arabia Petraea Felix is a collection of my sculptures inspired by ancient geometrical abstract sculptures and architecture from Jordan all the way to Yemen.
