7th International Sculpture Symposium, Aqaba 2016

Organized by the National Gallery of Fine Arts, at AYLA, Aqaba, Jordan, with the theme of land art, it ran in October and November 2016, with the participation of International, Arab and Jordanian sculptors. Participants: Alfia Leiva – Mexico, Anees Maani – Jordan, Anja Krakowski – Germany, Deva Sand – France, Elmer Dumlao – Philippines, Fadi Yazigi – Syria, Francesca Marti – Spain, Hala Abu Baker – Jordan, Hala Twal – Jordan, Katia Tal - Jordan, Khaled Wahel – Iraq, Khalid Khreis – Jordan, Kun Xiu – China, Leonidas Spinelli Capel – Argentina, Nadine Amira – Jordan, Rajwa Ali – Jordan, Rana Bishara – Palestine, Rocio Villalonga - Spain, Saeed Bader – Egypt, Sina Atta – Iraq. I have used Granite natural stones aquired from the mountains surrounding Aqaba, I had some ideas and sketches prepared, I narrowed them down only after seeing the location and selecting the stones, I took my time to chose an option, then it took one day with a winch to assemble my dolmen, and putting the cherry on top.
